Service Contracts

Annual Maintenance and Service Contracts are an avenue to assist municipalities with getting the right contractor in place for a specified period of time to perform well and pump support services, evaluations and system improvements.  The advantages of these contracts are:  1) set price and mark-up on materials and services, 2) the contract and project is bid once during the term of the contract, and 3) the contract is only as good as the company servicing the contract.  Most Annual Maintenance and Service Contracts are on a year-by-year basis with a renewable option from one to three years.

The greatest honor for a service contractor is to have an Annual Maintenance and Service Contract extended. General Pump Company, Inc. holds more than 65 annual service contracts & open purchase orders with major water utilities and municipalities in Southern California. The longest running annual contract General Pump Company, Inc. has serviced is 18-years, with the average contract length being 7-years.  The reason that General Pump Company, Inc. has so many Annual Maintenance and Service Contracts is our dedication to our customers and the performance of their facilities, team work and solution-oriented projects, quality of performance and attention to details.
